Norma Flaming
Since 1988, Norma has been helping individuals and businesses navigate complex financial and tax matters with clarity, confidence, and integrity.
Over the course of her career, she has advised clients across a wide range of industries, providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services tailored to each client’s unique goals. Her depth of knowledge, combined with a practical, results-driven approach, allows her to anticipate challenges and deliver solutions that stand the test of time. She continues to serve as a trusted advisor, drawing on decades of experience to help clients make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.
Outside of work, Norma is an active member of Rotary, reflecting her strong commitment to community service and leadership roles during her career. She also enjoys travel and spending quality time with family and friends.
Gabriel Flagg, M.S.A., CPA
Gabriel joined the firm in January 2020 and brings over a decade of experience in taxation, compliance, and client advisory services. He holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Colorado Denver (2023), where he focused on partnership taxation, corporate taxation, audit, and data science. Gabriel earned his CPA license in 2013 while working as a governmental auditor, gaining eight years of experience in rigorous technical review, financial oversight, and compliance assurance.
Originally from Wyoming, Gabriel completed both his B.S. in Finance, which provided a strong foundation in financial analysis, and his M.B.A. at the University of Wyoming, the latter earned while serving as a graduate assistant. He relocated to Colorado in 2019 and has been a valued member of the team since 2020.
Outside the office, Gabriel enjoys developing a self-designed stock-market algorithm using Python, SQL, and NumPy. While purely a personal hobby, these data-driven projects continually sharpen his analytical thinking and reinforce the technical skill set he brings to his professional Excel and database work. He also enjoys running, watching his daughter compete in basketball, attending live music, spending time with family, and exploring the outdoors, playing basketball and golf.
FeiFei Liu
Feifei is an Enrolled Agent with five years of experience providing tax services to individuals and businesses. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Colorado State University and her Master of Science in Taxation from Suffolk University in Boston. During her graduate studies, she focused on the taxation of pass-through entities, corporate taxation, and international taxation.
Since graduating from Suffolk University, Feifei has worked in public accounting, where she has developed strong expertise in small business tax compliance and state and local taxation (SALT).
Steve Garcia
Steve Garcia has accepted the position of Staff Accountant with Flaming & Associates CPAs. He has his Accounting Degree from Colorado State University. He has held various accounting positions for large & small organizations. Which includes previous CPA accounting experience. He was born & raised in Northern Colorado. When he is not at work, he loves staying active / hiking in the mountains as well as visiting new cities / states with his girlfriend Sheri & their two dogs Max (German Shepard mix) & Dixie (Vizsla).
Ann Jones
Ann moved here with her family and pets back in 2007 from Connecticut. She enjoyed a career in serving people of all ages and abilities as an activity director, with in a focus in programming for people with disabilities. Highlights include serving as a local coordinator for Special Olympics, working with seniors in skilled nursing facilities and retirement communities, and teaching children with learning disabilities. She loves Colorado and all the outdoor opportunity for exploration and adventure. That adventurous spirit led to a career change as a full business partner, CFO and field manager for a local pet sitting company – this is where she expanded her knowledge, skill and interest in bookkeeping. Outside of work, she has a passion for competitive sports, participating at the collegiate level in softball and basketball and then post-college, in dek hockey, volleyball and lots of other team sports. Her newest interest is Pickleball (a sport named after a dog!). She loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, walking dogs, and keeping fit.
